My problem with conference expansion over the last few decades is that it

hasn't been big enough. Go big or go home.

If the ACC would have taken the all Big East football schools on the spot and maybe making the other great basketball programs in the Big East a deal to make a monster basketball conference, can you imagine what the ACC would look like now?

So many other examples as well.

Doing it a slow death with no big vision has hurt most parties.
